You have probably been a customer in a convenience store, so you know that people want to shop in a clean store that has what they want to buy. They also want to be served by friendly, helpful employees. To be sure that our customers are satisfied and want to return to the store the job of sales person involves many different essential job functions. Some of the things you will do as a store employee are:

Greet our customers as they walk into the store
Handle cash properly when running the register
Clean and dust the counters and shelves
Stand, bend and lift (up to 50 ) for up to 8-hours or longer
Put merchandise on the shelves and counters
Maintain the fast food area by cleaning, regular inspections and Empty the trash cans continual stocking as needed
Serve our customers in a friendly manner
Mop the floors
Clean the parking lot and store windows
other “odd” jobs which make this store an enjoyable place to shop

Every effort will be made to establish a regular work schedule for you. However, it is not always possible to predict when an emergency might arise that requires a change in that schedule. Also, we can’t always predict or control when our customers will come into the store. So, we all have to be flexible about when we work. As a store employee, you will be joining a Team. You can make new friends and gain valuable work experience while earning good pay.
